Alicia keys continues to be a rising star with her upcoming tour and album ‘The elements of freedom’ With her style and grace underneath all of the buzz she seems to have a humble demeanor to her work and fans. She also is a feature on hip-hop mogul’s jay-z single ‘Empire State of Mind’. She is a 12-time Grammy award winning singer/songwriter/producer. Yet most dear to her hear is her keep a child alive humanitarian organization that aids to fight HIV/AIDS.

 

BIO

AT the age of seven she started taking piano lessons and found her calling. At sixteen she was accepted to Columbia University but dropped out to pursue her music career. Later She attends the prestigious “Professional Performing Arts School of Manhattan, where she majored in choir. Not only a true beauty she was nominated valedictorian. A new York native born to a Irish/Italian mother and African American father who left when she was only two years old.

 

1998- Wrote and produced her and recorded her own album.

 

1999-She left Arista’s records and joined J-Records with legendary mogul Clive Davis.

 

2001- Debut albun ‘ Songs in A Minor’ sold six million copies and won five grammys.

 

2005- Diary album won four grammys

 

2007- Album ‘ as I am’ had hot singles such as ‘Superwoman, and ‘ No one became 1 singles
